- Eucalyptus 1.0 - Translator Notes
- ---------------------------------
-
- In the CT directory, there are now both the .ct and .cd files. If you just
- want to translate, use ONLY the .ct file. It has blank lines for you to fill
- in the translated text. Then you can just send if off to me, and I'll include
- it in the next release.
-
- *** NOTE: Make sure that the version number (on the line '## version') is set
- to 100. Also, make sure you put the language to which you're translating
- on the line that starts '## language'.
-
- If you want to compile the .catalog file to test it, that's a little bit more
- involved. Here's what you do:
-
- 1. Put the translations into the .ct like normal. DO NOT alter the .cd file
- in any way.
-
- 2. Get the program FlexCat from Aminet.
-
- 3. Type this in at a shell prompt:
-
- FlexCat Eucalyptus.cd Eucalyptus.ct CATALOG Eucalyptus.catalog
-
- This should create the .catalog file.
-
- 4. Put the .catalog file in "LOCALE:Catalogs/<language>". Then you can test
- it out with Eucalyptus.
-
- Let me know if it doesn't work, or if the translation strings come out wrong
- or mixed up or something like that.
-
